I really wanted to say it's difficult, but someone once told me the only difference between difficult and challenging is your approach. Life is a challenge these days.
My stomach has been in knots for weeks over where we will move and when it will happen. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed by our house that I can't do the simplest task without getting diverted. Like stress brings on adult ADD. Maybe that's normal?
At least we seem to have a solution on the horizon. Not sure if it's the right or wrong solution, but we picked one and we'll see what happens.
this life is...

hopeful
Today was the first really good day in a long list of pretty bad days. I do have much to be grateful for, but it's hard to remember that when there is so much turmoil surrounding your every day life. Work is stressful for me and for Jason. We don't know what his job future holds. We don't really know what my job future holds. And we don't know when we will be kicked out of our house. We got our notice of foreclosure about two weeks ago. I never knew how powerful a piece of paper could be, but that one made me vomit.
But today, the sun was shining on us. God is opening our eyes to some great possibilities in our future. It might be a tough road to take, but there will be sunshine along the way. There are so many pieces to our current puzzle and some fell into place today.
Today has been a really good day.

Sweet Tooth Heaven
My family loves chocolate, but who doesn't? So I make a ton of chocolate cupcakes which includes chocolate icing. I just found the most amazing icing recipe - no store bought stuff for us! The best part is it's easy to whip up. So here it is....
Chocolate Fluff Icing
2 sticks, unsalted butter, softened
4 oz unsweetened baking chooclate (melted as the package instructs)
1 jar (7oz) Marshmellow Fluff or creme
1 c confectioner sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
Beat butter and chocolate on medium until creamy.
Beat in marshmellow. Once blended beat in confectioners sugar and vanilla.
Increase speed to high and beat 3 - 4 minutes.
Ice the cupcakes!
